Joint Expedition to Geminga

Once the sensors were clear of the temporal interference, we detected the hulk of the Inashalo, tumbling slowly. Two spars of the vast Barculon umbrella had snagged, leaving the ship’s integument exposed too long. My friends were dead.

Our own umbrellas worked. We had no choice but to continue. The remaining two thirds of our band of misfits, exiles and wanderers sheltered from the killing light of the ghost star, and began our studies.

It did not take long for us to find Isidder.
