An abandoned ring world hanging in space

Now the circle is broken, drained into gentle vacuum. Now the waters that circled inside rime the surface of the torus and fog the space around.
In ten million years the ring and waters will fall into a forming star. Later, the first rains will fall on a planet without a name. Every river flows to the sea.
